TERMS & CONDITIONS

Unless agreed upon differently, following Protours Terms apply:

  1. All prices are quoted net in Euro’s (€).
  2. On confirmation of the booking a prepayment of fifteen percent (15%) of the total amount is required.
  3. A further payment of fifty percent (50%) of the total is required three (3) months prior to the scheduled commencement of the requested tour.
  4. The balance of the payment must have been received by Protours no later than eight (8) weeks prior to the commencement of the requested tour.
  5. All prices quoted are based on tariffs and exchange rates current at the time of quotation and may be altered without notice.
  6. Government Value Added Tax is included at the rate current at the time of quotation. Protours reserves the right to pass on for payment to the agent/organizer/client any unforeseen increases or surcharges in rates imposed by hotels, carriers, etc. or increases in Government Value Added Taxes and alterations in exchange rates.
  7. Cancellations not to be subject to compensation claims by hotels should not be made later than three (3) months prior to the scheduled commencement of the requested tour unless otherwise stated.
  8. Cancellations not to be subject to other compensation claims should not be made later than eight (8) weeks prior to the scheduled commencement of the requested tour unless otherwise stated. In case of late cancellations a minimum fee of €-150.00 plus charges from our suppliers is payable within thirty (30) days of receipt of our invoice.
  9. Protours reserves the right to alter itineraries in any way deemed necessary. Protours also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain as client any person or group without any liability either to such person or group or agent/organizer/client or any other party connected to this service.
  10. Protours disclaims any responsibility for accident, illness, or injury, delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred, of or by clients and or tour members and or their property, alleged to have occurred as a result of making use of these services.
  11. Protours disclaims any responsibility for accident, illness, or injury, delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred, of or by clients and or tour members and or their property, alleged to have occurred as a result of strikes, riots, public disturbances, other incidents of similar nature and circumstances beyond the control of Protours.
  12. Protours disclaims any and all responsibility for changes in air, rail, sea and other transport services and for any consequences of such changes.
  13. Protours advises tour participants to have a personal illness/accident insurance, as well as being insured against damage or loss of baggage etc.
