OUR TRIPS

Aside from our Special Interest tours that explore a particular theme or period, we organize programs for clients who wish to have a general overview of the country and what it has to offer the discerning traveler. These itineraries take in the well-known cities, attractions and museums, along with out-of-the-way towns and villages.

We also organize programs in conjunction with professional or business trips to the Netherlands where we arrange airport welcomes, chauffeured transportation, conference facilities, dinners and receptions. We combine these business arrangements with specially developed sightseeing excursions to windmills, castles, flower auctions and museums, or perhaps a bicycle ride through the country side or a sailing excursion aboard a traditional Dutch sailing ship.

We make it a habit to include unique events in our itineraries, in order for our clients to get a glimpse of the country that few travelers get to experience:

• dinners and receptions at 17th century mansions, private homes, historic monuments and museums throughout the country
• lectures and meetings with renowned authors, researchers and specialists in various fields
• visits to private art and antique collections, normally not open to the general public
• meetings with artists at their studios
• special events at private gardens and estates and membership of the Dutch Garden Society, allowing entry into many gardens normally closed to the public
• specially arranged private concerts by members of the Concertgebouw Orchestra and The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, or private performances by well-known musicians in intimate locations such as a small church or chapel, etc.

All of the above is done in close cooperation with our clients according to their wishes or budget.
